Kenneth Clark Loggins is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. His first songs were recorded with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1970, resulting in seven albums being recorded under the name Loggins and Messina between 1972 and 1977. His first contributions to the soundtrack. originated from A Star Is Born in 1976, and he's known as King from the film's soundtrack. As a solo artist, Loggins has had a string of soundtrack successes, including an Oscar nomination for "Footloose" in 1985.
